Lazy play date....

Yesterday I was joined by 2 blogging friends, V from the Lawless gang, and A from the white 5 adventures. The weather was forecasted to be rain, so the plan as to head to the woods for some puddle splashing, however it was the opposite, so we headed out to the garden.
When my parents visited last week, the y left their industrial bubble machine with us for the summer months for the girls to enjoy, so thought this was the perfect time to show the 4 kiddies, aged 2,2,3,and 4.... perfect ages for BUBBLES.... the excitement was both seen and heard with the shrieks... just perfect to fill the air with...

J soon wanted us adults to stop chatting and drinking coffee, so managed to persuade A to join her on the trampoline....
....and played 'ring a ring a roses' J's favourite part is the 'all fall down....'
the other three were still mesmerized by the bubbles....

...it was soon time for lunch, but when it came to making the picnic, I realised Daddy forgot to buy the bread, so we had to stall the kiddies, whilst he ran out, J and SW soon made fun with the quavers...

...and soon enough it was time to tuck into the sarnies... SL got two lots as S didn't want hers...
...and SW bought his own picnic....
...after lunch V wanted a kiddies selfie, so it was time to all bundle on her lap...

...SW, didn't seem to interested..... but didn't want to be left out either...

...but the kiddies then didn't want to leave V's lap, so it was again time for the trampoline to move them away, which means V was roped in to climbing up...

...even the kitty wanted to join in...
..SW soon had enough of the trampoline, and got his mum to help him on the swing...

....when us mummies got sat down again, the kiddies disappeared inside to play, and they played nicely, with no arguments.... bonus!!
...the kitty was making the most of the peace and took advantage of the sun....

...before S came back out, up to her usual antics of mayhem....
...before SW and SL went home, it was one last go on the swing, where SW decided to do a back flip whilst swinging... by accident.... and I just missed it... such a clever boy, and I'm thankful he didn't hurt himself.... SL then decided to go flying of her swing belly first... phew its soft grass underneath...

...after the Lawless gang and the Whites went home, a storm passed by shortly after, so we finished the day by watching for the flashes and counting for the bangs....
....another lovely, chilled play date for the kiddies, and coffee and catch up for us mummies...
