Have you got the itch?

At the start of the school year, I was offered the chance to review Vamousse. Vamousse is a head lice treatment, to get rid of the dreaded head lice AND eggs, but they also do a shampoo if its going around at the time and your lucky enough to not have it YET! I was sure we was going to need it so put us forward to review. Last year at nursery, J kept catching it, over and over again, and it soon adds up, so that was one of the reasons why she didn't finish the term at nursery.
However, I am happy to say, we have completed the first term of school itch free!! YEAY!!!  But it means I haven't got a review for you just yet!
We do still have to check the girls though, just to make sure they don't have it, and its normally every 1-2 weeks. My J hates having her hair brushed, and we have had the house screamed down, and brushes thrown, but slowly it is getting better. We have got around this by her brushing her hair first to get it smooth. However with a nit comb she can't brush it herself.
We finally have the solution. Vamousse has a game that distracts the girls whilst doing it. They have to kill all the head lice and the eggs, in 5 different levels. It is easy enough that the youngest can do it, but progressively gets harder, making its more fun. This can be found on the app store or on google plus. Its called High noon for head lice, or if you search for Vamousse it also comes up.

Vamousse offers tips on reducing the chances of catching the dreaded itch as well as tips and hints on how to deal with them if you do catch them, which you can read here.
We were given a free sample of the Vamousse mousse and shampoo in return of an honest review, all words and opinions are my own.

  1. Makes you itch just thinking about head lice, so glad that J hasnt got it from school touch wood she doesnt

  2. My youngest had nits a couple of weeks ago! Grr!
I'm itching now thinking about them x

  3. I still have samples for other bloggers if you want to give Vamousse a try. :-)

  4. I used to work in a nursery and occasionally ended up with bits so ended up keeping a bottle of tea tree shampoo in my shower! X

  5. Your girls are so cute! And that is a really smart distraction haha xx

  6. Oh what a great idea! I use a daily spray on the eldest's hair that stops the little blighters from laying eggs but I can see that a distraction would be needed if we had to do any more than that. Clearly this brand knows what children are like!

I enjoy reading every single comment, Thank you.
