So today was my 2nd week weigh in on the 5:2 diet. I must admit, I found this week harder then the first, and kept delaying my fasts, and binging in the evenings on the supposedly fast days. Some days I even exceeded the 2000 calories, not on all, but on one in particular bad day when I wanted booze, but being on the dry January train, I couldn't reach for the wine.
I did still get my two fasts in, and went slightly over on one. I have upped my exercise too, as well as my fluids again. Daddy M has been at home, so I have managed the gym a few times, as well as walking the slightly longer way to school a few times. Even though I found it hard, it wasn't as hard as other diets I have previously been on, I think I just found the flexibility hard, that I could just switch and change a fast day at any time. I think I should choose a day, and just stick to it.
So the results of week 2....
This keeps me well in my target of 1 Ib a week for my goal.
Week 3 takes me to a mid week getaway to Pembrokeshire, I am hoping the beach, and the woods will help keep me moving, and I am hoping that I can fit the two required fasts in before I go, so as long as I don't go over the required 2000 calories, I am hoping for another loss.... fingers crossed! Daddy M has even said he will give it a go, and see how he gets on, as he can do it on his days off.... watch this space!!
Inch loss is still going... I really wish I took my measurements on the first week. My very comfy pyjama bottoms are falling down, and require constant pulling up... so that's the down side to the 5:2 diet.... but looking forward to slowly getting back into my smaller wardrobe in time for summer.
