Brewers Fayre has recently gone through a new refurbishment of some of their pubs and added a brand new play area for the children. We were invited to the Coach House at the Trafford Centre for the big launch. The girlies had great fun playing in a brand new play area, meeting Dennis the menace followed by a lovely meal too.
The play area is sectioned off from the rest of the pub meaning the noise wont bother the child free users, but also means the children can not escape either. In the area is tables if you wish to eat whilst they play, or just for the adults to relax with a drink.
The play area is three storeys high, and has a separate toddler area for the younger children. Kitted out with a Dennis the Menace theme throughout the area and the "party" room where children can colour or watch Dennis the menace cartoons. It costs £3 to play for 90minutes, which is a very good price compared to other soft play areas.
The bonus being that adults are not allowed on the equipment, so if a child is stuck, a member of staff helps out.
The launch kicked off with face painting. J of course went for a Frozen theme, whilst S went original asking for a dinosaur tattoo.
J was then asked to be photographed by the event photographer, which she loved doing, before running off to play.
All the children had fun playing on the new equipment, and even posed for some more photos with Dennis himself and some of the team.
After the girls had a long play it was time for lunch. We invited Grandad M along with us to say Thank you for all the babysitting he has done recently for us. He chose fish and chips, and it looked delicious. He had no complaints, and enjoyed it all.
The girlies both chose hot dogs. Theses came out in themed decorations too, and was a great size, with ketchup already served separately on the side. Perfect.
I am trying to be healthy and loose weight, so I opted for the bacon and chicken salad. Wow is all I can say. The chicken was full of flavour and moist. Its not very often I enjoy salads, and I never usually order one when I eat out. This salad has changed my opinion, It was delicious and I would highly recommend.
We decided to eat our meals out of the play area zone so the girls would not be distracted and actually eat their dinner.
We shall be returning as the girls had a play, and we had a lovely meal. Win, win all around. Thank you Brewers Fayre for having us.
*We were invited to the launch to enjoy the play, lunch and face painting for the purpose of an honest review. All photos, words and opinions are my own.
