Stagecoach... a gift like no other!

This Christmas J is getting a gift like no other. Its not a present she can unwrap under the tree, well she can unwrap the uniform t-shirt but the actual gift is one that can not be placed under the tree. We are giving her the gift of confidence. A gift that will help her through life now and as she grows. We are giving her the gift of Stage coach.

Stagecoach is a theatre and art school with classes all around the country. They teach children from the age of four up to the age of 18 in dance, drama and singing. Its a course rather then a week by week class consisting of three terms in a year.

The Spring term which J will be taking part in lasts for 12 weeks and in that 12 weeks she will learn the key performance skills required for singing, dancing and acting. J is always doing little shows for us at home and belting songs out from her karaoke machine so thought this would be a great way to tune her in a little and encourage her away from the computer games she is becoming attached to.

They have two age groups 4-6 and 6-18. With J being 6 we had the choice of which class, we have decided to enrol her for the younger class lasting 90 minutes (3x30mins) compared to the 3 hours whilst she still adapts to the new routine.

She is so excited at the prospect of being in one of the shows they perform for the parents, and I'm looking forward to seeing her grow. J is already confident around situations she is comfortable in, but we are hoping this will help bring the shy J out in the situations she is not so comfortable in, whilst having fun and making new friends.

Does your child perform? Would they like to go to Stage Coach? When I was a child I always wanted to go to Stage coach.

*We will be gifted a term for the purpose of an honest review, all words, photos and opinions are my own.

  1. Hi there, I did stagecoach when I was younger. I didn't enjoy it as I was bullied and my parents wouldn't let me leave. Don't take that as indication of what Stagecoah would be like, that was just my experience.
