Peppa Pig Construction set review

S is very creative, and imaginative. She loves building things and then playing with the said item in her own little way. When we were invited to try out a new Peppa Pig construction set she was very happy.  We were sent Grandpa Pig's boat to build and play with.

Inside the big box is 33 bricks and pieces, a Grandpa pig figurine that moves, sticker sheet and clear instructions.
The bricks are large for small hands to easily build.

The wheels are already built into larger shaped bricks, helping it to take shape quickly which means children with short attention spans enjoy building the full set too.

It took S (4 years) about 10 minutes to complete including popping on the stickers with myself helping her with the picture instructions.
Taadaa... just like the picture!

She then spent the afternoon whizzing it up and down sailing the lounge floor.

I like that it has wheels on the bottom so its not going to scratch the floor as she "sails" the boat. I also like that it doesn't have lots of bricks for me to pick up when she decides to dismantle it all over the floor for another day. I also liked the fact the instructions were not too long so she actually built the full set herself without getting pre-occupied with something else.
The set is suitable from 18months plus, which makes it great for helping with hand-eye co-ordination. This set is also compatible with other sets in the range and also another well known brand of large building bricks.
I think it is pretty obvious that we would recommend the Grandpa Pig's Boat construction set. Do you have a Peppa Pig fan in your house, or know someone who would like this set or another Peppa Pig Construction set?

*We were sent the construction set for the purpose of an honest review. All words, pictures and opinions are my own.

We're going on an adventure
