Fairy Flowerpot Review

The girls are fairy mad, just yesterday J came home from school with a fairy in her hand! We have been very luky to be able to keep the imagination alive with several fairy related products. Have you seen our fairy garden review, and our fairy door review from Interplay???
Well to the girls joy there is more fairy products being launched now too. We were able to grab the fairy flowerpot to review and put to the test. This time S was testing it out...

The set priced at £9.99 comes with a plastic flowerpot which has a separate compartment to keep the fairy clean and dry, a fairy called Blossom, some mustard seeds and some instructions.

The instructions explain that you can plant already growing flowers, or the seeds that are included into the pot. For mothers day, J brought home some potted flowers from rainbows for me so we decided to plant them in the new pot to give instant colour, and plant the seeds around the plant. S decided it would be fun to empty all the mustard seeds out onto the table first. Lets just say you get a lot of seeds in the pack! We then covered them up with a little compost (not included in the kit).

Placed a saucer underneath, and watered the flowers and seeds. I love the fact the pot has drainage holes in the bottom to drain out any excess watering from the kiddies. We have had plant pots before that came with no drainage holes and the plants ended up dying!

Blossom now has a pretty pot to call home, with her own clean dry little space.

Which makes S very happy indeed.

The pot which is part of the My Fairy garden range seems durable, sturdy and has the play factor appeal. It can be used inside or outside which makes it so versatile. We have decided to keep it inside to keep it close for play.
