Kenwood Blend X Fresh Blender Review

If your one of my Instagram followers you will know I love making a good smoothie when I'm on one of my many health kicks. Or I am quite partial to knocking up a home made soup when it gets a bit colder. Unfortunately my old faithful blender which I've had for over 5 years has started smelling when I blended for longer then a few minutes so I have had to replace. My replacement? The funky looking Kenwood Blend Fresh.

The first thing I notice about my sparkling new blender is the size. I think I will be able to fit a whole batch of soup in one blitz as it holds 2 litres, but really only space for 1.6l so its got room to do its job. The base is slim but sturdy too.

The jug is plastic, which comes in handy when I have my clumsy moments. The blender has three settings for speed, another setting to pulse, which the girls love doing, and an extra boost button when you add ice.
I couldn't wait to put it to use, so for breakfast this morning it just had to be a smoothie. It was able to blitz the blueberries, banana and a few nuts to a nice drinkable texture, along with some milk too.

The best bit about it is that its dishwasher safe and the blades are removable so you wont be left with yucky residue in parts you can not reach! Yeay!! Retailing at £41.99 it makes it affordable too.  With so many blenders on the market this day its hard to choose the right one for you and your family, but this one is great for us with the large jug.

*We were sent the blender for the purpose of review, all words, photos and opinions are my own.
