Opening Fairy Doors Review

We love fairies in our house. The imagination that comes from the girls is amazing to see. With just a few props the world really comes alive to everything make believe, including fairies. S has seen them and J has an imaginary fairy that comes to see her. It truly is wonderful to see such happiness from them over something that isn't real. When we were asked if we wanted to review another fairy door, it was an easy decision. Now we have reviewed fairy doors in the past. One belongs in our lounge for everyone to see, and another was in J's bedroom. Unfortunately it didn't last the element of time with S around pulling the door and the house off the wall.
This fairy door is similar to the one that has lasted with one big difference. It opens.... Now this is big for any little girl. It also comes with a window, a post box with letter paper and envelopes, fairy dust, a little book, fence panels, wall stickers and a fairy friend certificate.

We decided to set this fairy door up for J again as it wasn't her fault her last one got broken. It really does look the part all set up. I propped up the certificate for her and left the little note paper out for her to leave for the fairies.

It looks so magical, and colourful too with the bright purple and bright stickers.

It was fairly simple to set up by using wall friendly stickers. We have used them in the past for the no drilling hooks, (the joys of renting property). The pack came with 6 stickers one for each item and two for the door with instructions on where to place them. To make them wall friendly you will need to keep part of the sticker on show to be able to pull it off. However, the sticker ends have green squiggles all over them so really stand out. This kind of takes away the magical feel of the fairy door just appearing. We also had issue with two of the stickers so had to forfeit the fence panels stickers, so they are just resting on our skirting board. The set comes with no spare.

Behind the door when it is opened you see an enchanted scene which is also seen through the window too.
I think our kitty has watched Tinkerbell far too much as was getting hopeful that a real fairy may just pop out of the door. From the picture you can see the size. Perfect size for little girls and fairies.

Well when J noticed the door, she didn't notice the green stickers however she did notice that it could open. She also noticed the fairy dust which she sprinkled over whilst making a wish. She also noticed that the fairy didn't come last night to pick up her letter. That could be as she only visits when they are well behaved. It certainly has captured her imagination.

...and the kitty's....

The opening fairy door retails at £14.99 which is similar to other fairy doors, so makes good value for money. If you are interested in purchasing one, you can do so from here. The door comes in three different colours, Luna (pink), Meadow (blue) and Willow (purple).
